Alexandre Lefebvre
Chief Executive Officer
With an MBA from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Management from the University of Ottawa, Alexandre Lefebvre has been involved in the construction and renovation industry for many years. Very early in his career, Mr. Lefebvre joined Lefebvre & Benoit, a family business dating back nearly 60 years and a true leader in the distribution of construction materials in Québec, which he became president in 2012. In march 2021, he was appointed CEO of BMR Group and Executive Vice-President of Sollio Cooperative Group
A seasoned manager known for his passion, leadership and commitment to the community, Alexandre Lefebvre sits on the Board of Directors of the Independent Lumber Dealers Co-operative, a buying group with sales of over $7 billion. He was also a member of the Board of Governors of the Conseil du patronat du Québec (CPQ) and was honoured as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2017.
Antonio Di Pasquale
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Antonio Di Pasquale joined BMR Group in November 2020 as Vice President, Supply Chain and Operational Excellence. He is an accomplished manager with over 20 years of experience in supply chain management and operations.
A graduate of Polytechnique Montreal in Industrial Engineering, he began his career at GCL Group as a Senior Project Manager, a position he held for 7 years. Well known for his leadership skills, business acumen, commitment to excellence and innovative spirit, he then spent a decade at Agropur, where he enjoyed a flourishing career in several strategic management positions. Before joining BMR in 2020, Di Pasquale held the position of Supply Chain Director at Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP), Parts, Accessories & Clothing Division (PAC), where he led a team of 70 professionals in charge of the company’s global operations.
As Chief Operating Officer, Di Pasquale oversees all BMR Group's operations.
André Lavoie
Executive Vice President, Shared Services
Throughout his career, Mr. Lavoie has contributed to the growth and business success of numerous companies, including some 17 years at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, where he was Senior Director, Investments, Private Equity, since 2016. Graduate of HEC Montréal in finance and senior manager in corporate finance, strategy and investment, André Lavoie is a leader with integrity and passion, known as much for his business acumen and rigour as for his leadership and his ability to listen.
There is no doubt that he will be a key player in the implementation of BMR Group’s most recent strategic plan, which will serve as the foundation for the continued growth of the company’s activities across Canada.
Caroline Dionne
Vice President, Finance
Ms. Dionne joined BMR Group in 2021 as Senior Director, Corporate Accounting and was appointed Senior Director, Finance in August 2022. Prior to joining BMR Group, Ms. Dionne held numerous management positions in the food distribution, energy supply and pharmaceutical industries. She was appointed BMR Group's Vice President, Finance in December 2022.
With a Bachelor's degree in Management, with a specialization in Accounting, and a DESS in Public Accounting from HEC Montréal, Ms. Dionne is a seasoned, passionate and engaging manager with strong financial analysis and accounting skills, as well as an unparalleled sense for business.
Charles Grégoire-Béliveau
Vice President, Merchandising
Mr. Charles Grégoire-Béliveau has been working in the renovation and hardware industry for over a decade. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal. He joined BMR Group in 2016 as Director, Purchasing for Corporate Stores. As part of his duties, he led the merger of the purchasing, distribution, and corporate stores teams. He was subsequently promoted to Director, Merchandising, and in 2020 was appointed Senior Director, Merchandising. Since his appointment, he has launched several key initiatives including BMR Group's import activities in Asia.
Results-oriented, Mr. Grégoire-Béliveau is an effective and committed leader and is involved in various activities related to the renovation and hardware industry, notably as Chairman of the Board of Éco-Peinture, an organization that regulates and manages paint recycling for the Québec market.
As Vice President, Merchandising, Mr. Grégoire-Béliveau oversees all activities related to the merchandising and commercialization of products.
Vincent Chicoine
Vice President, PRO Sales
Mr. Chicoine has over 16 years of sales experience in the residential and commercial construction and renovation industry. Mr. Chicoine joined BMR Group after over 15 years with IKO Industries, a pioneer and leader in the global roofing and related products industry. He held the positions of Sales Manager for Quebec, Regional Sales Manager for Quebec and Atlantic Canada and, until recently, Regional Sales Manager for Eastern Canada.
Recognized by his peers as a dynamic and effective leader, Mr. Chicoine uses his extensive industry knowledge and the art of negotiation to create value while getting his colleagues and teams involved.
Jean-Marc Prudhomme
Vice President, Forest Products
Mr. Prudhomme joined BMR Group in 2011 as Director of Purchasing. He has since moved up the ranks and was, until recently, Senior Director, Commodity Sales and Purchasing. He was appointed Vice President, Forest Products in October 2022.
Prior to joining BMR Group, he held numerous management positions, including Sales Director, Buying Groups at Goodfellow and Business Owner at Matériaux Pont-Masson.
Mr. Prudhomme is a passionate, dynamic, and results-oriented manager and is an excellent ambassador for the company.
Claudie Gervais
Vice President, Marketing & Communications
Ms. Gervais joined BMR Group in 2017 as Director, Promotional Strategy and Business Intelligence. In 2020, she was promoted to Senior Director, Marketing and Business Intelligence, and since 2022, has served as Senior Director, Marketing and Communications. She was appointed Vice President, Marketing & Communications in September 2022.
Ms. Gervais holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal and a Master's degree in Management from HEC Montréal. She is a seasoned manager with over 15 years of experience in business intelligence, marketing and communications.
Over the course of her career, she has held numerous management positions, notably with Aéroports de Montréal (ADM) and a competing banner in the renovation and hardware industry.
Marek Jankowski
Vice President, Information Technology
Mr. Jankowski joined BMR Group in December 2022 as Vice President, Information Technology. With over 23 years of experience in IT, Mr. Jankowski joined BMR Group after having worked for over 10 years with TC Media and TC Transcontinental. He held the positions of Senior Director, Architecture, Business Intelligence and Packaging Solutions, Senior Director, Manufacturing Technologies and Integration and, until recently, Vice President, Information Technologies, Packaging Sector.
Mr. Jankowski studied Telecommunications at the Université du Québec à Montréal and holds a certification from HEC Montréal in Business Model Generation. Recognized by his peers as a passionate and results-oriented leader, Mr. Jankowski uses his extensive technical knowledge to create value while engaging his colleagues and teams.
François Grenier
Vice President, Human Resources
François Grenier holds a graduate degree in Dispute Prevention and Resolution, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Sherbrooke. He has over 20 years of experience in human resources management. Renown for his ability to mobilize, his empathy, and his negotiation skills, François Grenier especially stands out in the context of business transformation, mergers and acquisitions in complex work environments.
Having held the position of Director of Human Resources at La Coop Comax for 7 years as well as that of Senior Director of Labour Relations & OHS at BMR since 2017, François Grenier has a solid knowledge of the BMR network and its industry. He is nominated as Vice President Human Resources in 2021.
Simon Gouin
Vice President, Business Development
Mr. Gouin joined BMR Group in 2021 as Senior Director, Business Development - Eastern Canada, and brings over 17 years of business development experience in the construction and renovation industry.
A graduate of HEC Montréal in Business Administration, he spent nearly a decade managing hardware stores, before moving on to various leadership positions in sales and business development. In his new role, he will oversee the expansion of BMR Group's network in Eastern Canada, as well as maintaining and reinforcing good business relationships with existing dealers.
