Eye Slip Hook­ - 5/16"

A slip hook forms a noose which tightens as load is applied. The hook can be attached to a length of chain with a mid-link, shackle, or quick link through the eye. Care should always be taken to ensure that the means of attaching a hook to a length of chain has a sufficient Safe Work Load limit. To be used in conjunction with Grade 30 or 43 chain on farms, in industries, and at home for general-purpose applications, such as pulling stumps, lashing cargo, truck tailgates, and guard rails.
