This Schluter Kerdi-Seal pipe seal is designed especially for waterproof protection of pipe protrusions. It has an over-molded rubber gasket for sealing protrusions through the waterproofing membranes. It is also intended to protect the exposed edges of moisture-sensitive backing panels at the pipe openings in Kerdi shower installations. For a trouble-free pipe installation in the bathroom, this seal fits tight to prevent leaks in the wrong places.
