THE BOIES FAMILY AND BMR GROUP DONATE $60,000 TO THE SAINTE-ANNE-DE-BEAUPRÉ HOSPITAL FOUNDATION
Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, October 23, 2019 – The Boies family, owner of the BMR Raymond Boies Home Renovation Centres, in collaboration with BMR Group, is proud to donate $60,000 to the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Hospital Foundation’s major fundraising campaign to redevelop the prosthetic unit.
Already heavily involved in the Foundation, where Lucie Boies has sat on the Board of Directors since 2013 and as Chair since 2017, the Boies family’s donation renews its commitment to supporting the Foundation’s initiatives. “It’s important for our family to be engaged in our community. Through our involvement, we want to reach out to as many people as possible and support the Foundation in its mission to promote access to quality health care and services for our community,” said Lucie Boies.
The Boies family was also fortunate to have the support of BMR Group, whose main philanthropic activities involve the health sector. “We’re committed to supporting our local dealers in their community involvement. With our presence in more than 255 Quebec municipalities, and as the province’s leader in hardware and renovation, we feel that we have a role to play and we take great pleasure in striving to enrich the lives of local people through projects such as the redevelopment of the prosthetic unit at Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Hospital,” said Stéphanie Couturier, Vice-President of Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility at BMR Group.
“The Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Hospital Foundation is proud to have the support of businesses and people who care about the well-being of their community, such as the Boies family and BMR Group. It is through collaboration that major projects such as the redevelopment of the prosthetic unit are possible,” underscored Véronique Tremblay, Executive Director of the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Hospital Foundation.
