R-40 fiberglass batt insulation rated for residential attic and ceiling installations. Composed of spun glass fibres formed into flexible batts sized to fit between standard framing members without cutting. The R-40 thermal resistance value indicates high resistance to conductive heat flow, reducing energy transfer through ceilings and attic floors. Fiberglass does not absorb moisture, does not rot, and does not support mould growth. Intended for unfinished attic floors, enclosed ceiling cavities, and cathedral ceiling assemblies in residential construction.
