New BMR Hardware Store Coming Soon to Caraquet!
Boucherville, March 27, 2018 – Groupe BMR and business owner Michel Chiasson are pleased to announce the opening of a new BMR hardware store in Caraquet in May. Perfectly located at 447 Saint-Pierre Blvd. West, the store will include both the BMR hardware store, covering a surface of 5,000 ft2, and the offices of Location JED, which are relocating to this address.
“The idea of getting into the hardware business came naturally to me; in fact, my clients were the ones who asked me to!” says Michel Chiasson, owner of Location JED, Tech Rescue, and now BMR Caraquet. “For over a year now, they have expressed their interest in seeing me expand my offer, following the closure of both hardware stores in our region. I decided to take them at their word and open an authentic hardware store, since I had just acquired a new building in Caraquet,” adds Chiasson.
The hardware store will bear the name BMR Express, a variation of the traditional BMR sign, which represents smaller hardware stores that offer the most popular products with a highly personalized service.
“I chose BMR because it is a strong, well-known Francophone brand, but also because I have strong confidence in their team. They offer quality products, 90% of which are from Canadian vendors, at very competitive prices.
