RONA D.E. Landry in Saint-François-de-Madawaska moves to BMR’s banner!

Saint-François-de-Madawaska, April 16, 2018 – Groupe BMR continues to prove the strength of its business model by welcoming yet another hardware store to its network of dealers in New Brunswick, the third in less than a month: D.E. Landry in Saint-François-de-Madawaska.

Joey Landry, fourth-generation owner of the family business as of last March, was impressed by BMR’s human approach as well as BMR’s high-quality products and services. “BMR is very aware of its impact on local communities, and its values align perfectly with ours,” says Landry. “Changing banners was an important business decision, but we are joining BMR with complete confidence. They understand the needs of a local hardware store like ours.”

“D.E. Landry is a very inspiring family business, and we’re proud to count it among our network of 305 stores,” says Pierre Nolet, Vice-President of Business Development at BMR. “We are now becoming a veritable force in New Brunswick with a total of 12 stores. Our mission is simple: use our unparalleled expertise in renovation to help citizens of Saint-François-de-Madawaska and the surrounding area discover the many advantages of BMR.”

Groupe BMR is a subsidiary of Sollio Cooperative Group, which includes more than 275 renovation centres and hardware stores in Quebec, Ontario and the Maritime provinces. Retail sales for Groupe BMR and its members are estimated at more than $1.5 billion per year and some 8,000 people work within the network.
