Boucherville, October 10, 2018 — BMR Group is very proud to announce that 17 new stores have joined its network, include nine in Nova Scotia, four in New Brunswick, three in Prince Edward Island, and one in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Well known in Atlantic Canada for more than 75 years, these stores, which operate under the Co-op Country Store banner, specialize in the sale of agricultural products and offer a line of hardware products.
“At BMR Group, we are distinguished by our in-depth knowledge of agricultural products, acquired over the years thanks to our dedicated team of specialists and strengthened since our acquisition by La Coop fédérée, a Canadian agri-food leader. We are therefore very well equipped to respond to the needs of the Co-op Country stores while offering them new possibilities thanks to our different products and services,” said Pascal Houle, CEO of BMR Group.
The addition of the Co-op Country stores brings the total number of new BMR Group locations in the Maritimes to 22 for the year 2018. “We are very pleased to see that BMR Group’s offer, approach, and DNA are attracting dealers outside Quebec. Our new marketing slogan, Welcome home, was chosen for a reason. We make room for our affiliated dealers, regardless of their provenance, size, or specialization, and they feel it,” said Pierre Nolet, Vice-President of Business Development.
