Vallier Chabot, President of CDL, stated: “BMR Group will be an invaluable partner for our family and our company. This relationship and the ability to share our strengths will certainly help reinforce the quality of our service and our closeness to all of our clients. What’s more, this partnership will ensure our company remains in Quebec for a long time to come. That is incredibly important to our family.”

Pascal Houle, CEO of the BMR Group, added: “Maple sugaring is a fast-growing industry and we’re very pleased to strengthen our position in the sector. CDL is a leader in the maple sugaring industry, not only in Quebec but in the rest of Canada as well. That makes them an excellent partner as we work towards our ambition to become a Canadian leader.”

The Chabot family would like to thank Daniel Lalanne for his exceptional work since joining the company in 2005. Mr. Chabot noted: “We could not have asked for more. His work as not only a shareholder, but an active employee, has been simply incredible. Daniel was a key part of securing CDL’s place in the US after our acquisition of Maple Pro.”
