BMR MATCO INAUGURATES ITS NEW FACILITIES IN SAINTE-CATHERINE
Boucherville, June 21, 2018 – It was with immense pleasure that Groupe BMR inaugurated the new facilities of its BMR Matco store in Sainte-Catherine today, after investing $2.8 million in major renovations.
The improvements include the construction of a new façade adorned with a large window to brighten up the store, floor covering and wood beams to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a complete overhaul of the rear yard to create more storage space for construction materials. The in-store department layout was also reworked to allow for easier and faster shopping. In addition, contractors now have their own dedicated entrance so that our experts can provide the most efficient service possible.
The work, part of a large-scale redevelopment plan for all Groupe BMR corporate stores throughout Quebec, was carried out to create the most modern store possible, one that can meet the needs and fulfill the wishes of our customers to an even higher degree.
“This $2.8 million investment is a reaffirmation of our dedication to provide impeccable service to our customers. Thanks to the collaboration between the BMR Matco team in Sainte-Catherine and all our partners, we can now offer the citizens of Sainte-Catherine and the surrounding area a magnificent, modern, and welcoming store that we can all be proud of,” said Martin Lecomte, Vice-President of Retail at Groupe BMR.
Notable guests at the inauguration were the mayor of Sainte-Catherine, Jocelyne Bates, the municipal representative of Sanguinet, Alain Therrien, and the CEO of Groupe BMR, Pascal Houle.
