A BMR store takes shape in New‑Brunswick 

Boucherville, April 27, 2026 – A new chapter is beginning for the BMR network in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, with the construction of a brand-new store named Brixmat Supplies Ltd., designed and built to meet the growing needs of the local market. 

Located in Victoria County, Grand Falls takes its name from its 23-meter waterfall and is recognized as an officially bilingual city, making it one of the few municipalities in Canada with a bilingual name. 

Born of an ambitious vision, this entirely new construction project aims to become a go-to destination for contractors and DIY enthusiasts. Through its focus on efficiency, expertise, and community engagement, the store also aspires to play an active role in the economic development of Grand Falls and the surrounding communities. The opening of the store will also create 20 new jobs in the region. 

With a total area of 29,000 square feet, including 13,000 square feet of retail space and 16,000 square feet of warehouse space, Brixmat will offer a comprehensive one-stop shop selection. The project is led by four entrepreneurial partners, two of whom already own BMR stores in Saint-Quentin and Kedgwick, leveraging their experience to provide high-level service from day one.
