BMR GROUP CELEBRATES RELOCATION OF THE MATÉRIAUX MONTBEILLARD STORE 

Boucherville, March 31, 2022 – It is with great pride that BMR Group celebrated the relocation of the Rouyn-Noranda Matériaux Montbeillard store today with the employees of the store, the relatives and close friends of the owners as well as the mayor of the City of Rouyn-Noranda, Mrs. Diane Dallaire.

In March 2021, owners Sylvie and Jean-Pierre Marchand undertook major work, worth nearly $1.2 million, to relocate their store to the former elementary school in their neighbourhood. This change led to the creation of four new part-time jobs, in addition to the 18 employees already working at the store.

“We are very close to our customers and very involved in our community. We are so proud that we could restore an important building and enhance our city,” says Jean-Pierre Marchand, co-owner of the Matériaux Montbeillard store.

“We have completed no less than 20 major renovation projects in the past year across our entire network. A store restoration not only improves the quality of the client experience, it helps retain customers. We are very proud that we could share our deep expertise with Matériaux Montbeillard,” states Jonathan Gendreau, Vice President, Business Development, Marketing and Customer Experience.
