RECALL NOTICE
Published on 2017-02-20 - Groupe BMR is currently undertaking a voluntary recall of a product sold in its stores.
This recall is intended for the following product:
Paste flux #5 (1 lb format only) cleans and fluxes at the same time. Effective on all metal except aluminum, magnesium and stainless steel. 100% lead free. BMR code 006-2268, vendor code 48423, UPC 038753484235.Note : The 1.7 oz format (006-2259) is not targeted by this notice
If you purchased this product, we ask you to immediately stop using it and to return it to us as soon as possible, in store, in order to be reimbursed.
This measure is taken due to a concern regarding the child-resistant property of the packaging. Oatey Canada is cooperating with Health Canada on this recall.Should you need additional information, do not hesitate to contact your BMR merchant.

This recall is intended for the following product:
UPM thermostats, Electric thermostat 3,000 W, BMR code 002-7636,076-0980,076-1606.Programmable electric thermostat 3,000 W, BMR code 003-1471,009-2436,021-9714,020-8189.Programmable thermostat 7 days WH 4,000 W, BMR code 018-1864.
This message follows the Internet bulletin issued by Health Canada on April 16, 2015 regarding an expanded recall.The UPM company is no longer in business and Groupe BMR has not been distributing these thermostats for a long time.
If you purchased this product, we ask you to immediately stop using it and to return it to us as soon as possible, in store, in order to be reimbursed.
This recall has been undertaken as a precautionary measure as a result of a possible overheating,emit smoke, damage the wall,posing a fire hasard or broken element problem. Please take note that it is essentially a precautionary measure taken solely at Groupe BMR inc.'s initiative. Should you need additional information, do not hesitate to contact your BMR merchant.
